DISTRIBUTION WATT-HOUR METER HAVING OVER-CURRENT OBSERVER

PURPOSE: A distribution watt-hour meter with an excessive current observer is provided to quickly and efficiently determine an excessive current by a simple operation. CONSTITUTION: A distribution watt-hour meter(100) comprises a meter current transformer(110), a meter voltage transformer(120), a temperature sensor(130), a first surge protector(140), a second surge protector(150), an amplifier(160), an A/D converter(170), an MCU (Micro-Controller Unit)(180), and an excessive current observer(182). The meter current transformer detects a current output signal in proportion to the consumption current of a load. The meter voltage transformer detects a voltage output signal in proportion to the load voltage of a wire. The excessive current observer detects the excessive current of a distribution system.
