SPI COMMUNICATION SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR COMMUNICATING BETWEEN MAIN BOARD AND EXPANSION BOARD

PURPOSE: An SPI communication system between a main board and an expansion board and a method thereof are provided to realize SPI communication by 1 time access of CPU, thereby simplifying SPI communication operation. CONSTITUTION: A CPU(Central Processing Unit)(112) of a main board(110) includes a SPI(Serial Peripheral Interface) address in a CPU address. The CPU transmits the CPU address through an address bus. When the CPU address operates, the CPU transmits data necessary for the SPI address through a data bus. In access of the CPU, an extended board(120) performs read/write operation after operation of SPI based on the SPI address and the data.
