PURPOSE: A Camellia japonica L. stamen powder and extract are provided to improve skin condition with moisturization and keratin removal effects and ensure skin whitening. CONSTITUTION: A skin whitening cosmetic composition contains Camellia japonica L. stamen powder and extract. The Camellia japonica L. stamen is obtained by drying, freezing, and grinding. The stamen is collected when the Camellia japonica L. flower blossoms or after fertilization. Drying Camellia japonica L. stamen is performed at high temperature or in a freeze drier at low temperature.
