PURPOSE: A composition containing tree extract for propolis is provided to treat dermatitis such as acne and atopic dermatitis. CONSTITUTION: A cosmetic composition for treating acne, skin inflammation, skin dryness, athlete's foot, eczema, allergic urticaria, pruritus, psoriasis, or atopic dermatitis contains 30-50 weight% of paper mulberry extract, 5-15 weight% of Phellodendron amurense extract, 5-15 weight% of Eucommia ulmoides oliver extract, 20-40 weight% of Saururus chinensis, and 1-10 weight% of mulberry extract. The tree extract for propolis is isolated using hot water, ethyl acetate, chloroform, hexane, C1-C4 alcohol, or mixture thereof.
