PURPOSE: A display device for transmitting a measuring result in a CDR server after measuring watching time is provided to replace the purchasing charge of the television by charging a watching cost according to the watching time. CONSTITUTION: A memory(131) stores approval information from a CDR server. A measuring unit(132) measures watching time. A video signal is outputted to a display unit. A communication unit(133) transmits and receives data by connection with the CDR server. A control unit(134) requests approval after connecting the CDR server. The control unit transmits measured watching time information to the CDR server.
