PURPOSE: A Nicotiana benthamiana-derived protein which interacts with coat protein of potato virus X(PVX) is provide induce increase or decrease of PVX. CONSTITUTION: A Nicotiana benthamiana-derived protein interacts with coat protein of potato virus X(PVX). The Nicotiana benthamiana-protein has an amino acid sequence of sequence number 2. The Nicotiana benthamiana-derived protein relates replication and movement of PVX. A gene encoding the Nicotiana benthamiana-derived protein has a nucleotide sequence of sequence number 1. A composition for suppressing PVX contains an antisense gene of the Nicotiana benthamiana-derived gene.
