A CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM OF APPROACHING, LANDFALLING, AND INFLUENCING TYPHOONS IN THE KOREAN PENINSULA AND TYPHOON STATISTIC METHOD THEREBY

PURPOSE: A classification system for approaching, land-falling, influencing typhoons with respect to Korean peninsula(KP) and a method for calculating the statistics of the typhoons are provided to reduce life and property damages due to the typhoon by increasing the accuracy of typhoon prediction. CONSTITUTION: Weather information measuring server(50) saves information related to the speed of wind and the amount of rain in a typhoon weather information database(80). A typhoon information measuring sever(60) saves the center coordination and the center atmospheric pressure of the typhoon in the typhoon weather information database. A water depth measuring server(70) saves the water depth information with respect to a position at which the center of the typhoon is located. A typhoon classifying unit(100) classifies typhoon into KP-influence typhoon, KP-approach typhoon, KP-landfall typhoon.
