COMBINATION PILE HAVING A CAST IN PLACE CONCRETE PILE COMBINED WITH A PHC OR STEEL PILE AND THE CONSTRUCTION METHOD USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A composite pile composed of a cast-in-place pile and a buried pile and a construction method thereof are provided to improve the bearing capacity of a cast-in-place pile by introducing an IGM ground theory, and to heighten constructability and to construct economically by securing the quality of manufactured goods and promoting the improvement of constructability simultaneously. CONSTITUTION: A composite pile(100) composed of a cast-in-place pile and a buried pile contains: a cast-in-place pile portion(110) formed on the lower part and provided with a reinforcement cage(114) inserted to a hole formed in the ground and concrete surrounding the reinforcement cage in the hole; a buried pile portion(130) formed on the upper part and including a pre-tensioned spun high strength concrete pile or a steel pipe pile which is opened upward; and a connector(160) connecting the top of the cast-in-place pile portion and the bottom of the buried pile portion integrally and including a pressure plate(162) dispersing the concentrated load caused by the buried pile portion equally to the whole surface of the cast-in-place pile portion.
