DTS EMULATOR FOR TESTING DLP IN LINK-11 AND METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A DTS emulating device and a method thereof are provided to manage a data transmitting sequence between DLPs and Pus though an expensive DTS is not used in TDL or link -11. CONSTITUTION: The first - the third PU(Participating Unit) (210,220,230) respectively include a DLP(Data Link Processor) and DTS(Data Terminal Set) emulator(241-243). The DLP(212,221,231) are connected to TDS(Tactical Data System) (211,222,232) and change transceiving data into TDL(Tactical Data Link) format. The DTS emulator proceeds UDP (User Diagram Protocol) communication with the DLP. The first DTS emulator successively transmits a token to the second and the third DTS emulator, and it enables the second and the third DTS emulator to successively transmit data to the first DTS emulator.
