Weight generator and maximum ratio combining receiver including the same and method for generating weight

PURPOSE: A weighted value generator, a maximum ratio combining receiver and a weighted value generating method for reducing the complexity of a system are provided to generated the weighted value according to ratio between interference power presumed from a reception signal. CONSTITUTION: An adder(110) offers an adding signal based on a first interference power estimation signal and a second interference power estimating signal. The first interference power estimation signal and the second interference power estimating signal are presumed from the first and the second reception signals received from respectively different antennas. A division operating unit(120) offers a first weighted value signal and a second weighted value signal based on the adding signal. The first and second weight signals are calculated according to rate between the first and second interference power estimation signals.
