The present invention relates to a method for enhancing the L- methionine and organic acid production efficiency . More specifically , by performing a methionine precursor of O- acetyl -homoserine or O- succinyl -homoserine , and mixed methyl mercaptan and enzyme reaction was added to a mixture of di- methyl sulfide in an appropriate ratio to methionine conversion enzyme having activity L- methionine precursor from L- methionine and improves the conversion of an organic acid to a method of producing L- methionine at high yield as compared to a conventional method .
