PURPOSE: A reaction catalyst for processing wastewater with steel slag and a wastewater processing method using the same are prevent secondary pollution due to elution of heavy metals by removing volatile heavy metals by promoting Fenton-like reaction. CONSTITUTION: A reaction catalyst for processing wastewater is manufactured by forming iron complex ions by mixing a chelating agent 10~50mM and steel slag 1~20g after heating the steel slag for 5 ~ 7 hours in 850~950C after crushing the steel slag to a size of 0.1mm or less. The chelating agent is EDTA, NTA, or Oxalate. The catalyst is used as a reaction catalyst of Fenton-like reaction.
