The present invention relates to a catalyst for treating wastewater, a method for preparing the same, and an apparatus for treating wastewater including the same. More specifically, the present invention relates to a catalyst for treating wastewater comprising: a stainless steel base having a plurality of nanopores formed on a surface thereof; and metal nanoparticles carried in the nanopores, a method for preparing the same, and an apparatus for treating wastewater including the same. A catalyst for treating wastewater according to the present invention has excellent corrosion resistance and abrasion resistance, and is very stable against changes in pH and temperature. Particularly, the catalyst shows treatment speed twice faster than a conventional method when the catalyst is used in an advanced oxidation wastewater treatment method, thereby remarkably lowering costs for treating wastewater, being continuously reusable without a specific stabilization process after being used; and having no need of a post treatment process as sludge is not generated compared to other conventional processes. Moreover, the catalyst can be prepared by a remarkably simple manufacturing process and instantly used in sites as the catalyst is simply applied to a conventional facility to be utilized.
