Specific primer and its use for distinguishing rice varieties

PURPOSE: A specific primer set for determining rice plant species is provided to shorten PCR time through multiplex PCR using fluorescent primer and to improve accuracy for gene analysis. CONSTITUTION: A primer set for determining rice plant species comprises an oligo nucleotide primer set of sequence numbers 1 and 2; primer set of sequence numbers 3 and 4; primer set of sequence numbers 5 and 6; or primer set of sequence numbers 7 and 8. The primer set is used for multiplex PCR. A kit for determining rice plant species comprises the oligonucleotide primer set and reagent for PCR. The reagent contains DNA polymerase, dNTPs, and buffer. A method for determining rice plant species comprises: a step of isolating genome DNA from rice plant; a step of amplifying a target sequence by PCR; and a step of detecting the PCR product.
