PURPOSE: A traction device for a physical therapy apparatus is provided to enable a user to appropriately control the intensity applied to the human body according to the physical condition of a patient. CONSTITUTION: A traction device for a physical therapy apparatus comprises: a bed plate which is installed in upper part of a frame to be movable to the front and rear; a bed which is attached on the top of the bed plate and supports a treatment portion; a carriage(10) including a pair of guiding rods to both sides thereof; a spring(20) which is inserted into a guiding rod and flexibly transfers the carriage; a pusher(30) which is inserted into the guiding rod and compresses the spring; a drive member(40) which operates the pusher; a pinion which is arranged on the upper part of the pusher and revolves; a rack(60) fixed to the bed plate; and a control sensor.
