PURPOSE: An image based wireless sensor network system and a method thereof are provided to efficiently use the wireless resource and power. CONSTITUTION: An event is detected(S610). Data related to the detected event is transmitted to a control center(S620). An image is created by photographing surroundings(S630). The created image is stored(S640). The property of the image is extracted(S650). The property of the extracted image is transmitted to the control center(S660).
