PURPOSE: A polymer electrolyte composition for a lithium battery comprising electrospun poly(vinylidene fluoride)-conducting polyaniline derivatives composite nanofibrous membranes is provided to exhibit enhanced ion migration and ion conductivity, and electrochemically stable window, and to improve the performance of a rechargeable lithium battery. CONSTITUTION: A polymer electrolyte composition comprises electrospun poly(vinylidene fluoride)-conducting polyaniline derivatives composite nanofibrous membranes. The conducting polyaniline derivatives are poly(o-phenylenediamine), poly(N-methylaniline), polyaniline or polydiphenylamine and is included in the amount of 0.1-10.0 wt.% based on total weight of a mixture of poly(vinylidene fluoride) and conducting polyaniline derivatives.
