Carbon footprint assessment system and method in components of manufactured goods

PURPOSE: A carbon footprint assessment system in components of a manufactured product and a method thereof are provided to enable a provider to assess a carbon footprint of products and an environment-friendly factor and enable a user to check environment-friendly ratings for used products. CONSTITUTION: An RFID reader(110) reads RFID information from an RFID tag. A middleware server(120) converts the RFID information into a format suitable for service processing of an EPCIS(Electronic Product Code Information Services) server(130). The EPCIS server stores object information, history information, and event information of a product related to an EPC(Electronic Product Code) of the RFID information. The EPCIS server provides attribute information for analyzing the event information.
