METHOD FOR SIGNAL TRANSMISSION THROUGH THE NETWORK OF THE ELECTRIC TRANSMISSION LINES, THE TRANSMITTER, THE RECEIVER, THE MODE OF TRANSMISSION OF THE DATA THROUGH THE ELECTRIC TRANSMISSION LINE AND THE DATA TRANSFER SYSTEM THROUGH THE ELECTRIC LINE
1. A method of transmitting a signal over a power line network, wherein in said power network, at least one transmitter and at least one receiver communicate with each other via at least two channels, each of said channels has a corresponding a supply port of at least one transmitter and a corresponding reception port of at least one transmitter, and said transmitter has at least two supply ports, comprising the steps of:! determining a channel characteristic of each of said channels; ! apply a selection criterion for the feed port based on said channel characteristic; and! an excluded supply port is selected from among the at least two supply ports based on said criterion for selecting a supply port in which said excluded supply port is not used during further data transmission. ! 2. The method according to claim 1, additionally containing stages in which:! dividing the alternating current period of said power line network into at least a first and a second part; ! determining a first channel characteristic for said first part and a second channel characteristic for said second part; ! selecting a first excluded supply port for said first part based on said supply port selection criterion; and a second excluded supply port for said second part based on said supply port selection criterion. ! 3. The method according to claim 1 or 2, further comprising stages in which:! determining an appropriate channel capacity based on said channel characteristic for said channels; ! determine �
