FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to traumatology and orthopaedics. A proximal growth plate of the shin bone is approached. A plate is pre-shaped along a proximal contour of the shin bone in two planes. The plate is placed and screwed in crisscross manner oppositely through the growth plate. An upper screw is delivered from epiphysis to metaphysis of the shin bone downright and forward, and a lower screw - from metaphysis to epiphysis upright and backwards.;EFFECT: method provides higher fixation stability and compression effect in the obesity patients, and in young children suffering inadequate strength of cartilaginous epiphysis, reduced postoperative complications.;1 ex, 1 dwg
