It is possible to increase accuracy with respect to yield point (kf,R) and rated rolling force (Fw) at minor strain (φ) or at minor reduction by calculating yield point (Re) at increased temperature depending upon deformation temperature (T) and/or deformation rate (phip) to be introduced in the function of yield point (kf,R) to determine rated rolling force (Fw) via relationship Re=a+eb1+b2·T·phipc (2), where Re is yield point at increased temperature, T is deformation temperature, a, b, c are deformation rate, and a; b; c are coefficients.;EFFECT: higher stability, absolute accuracy with respect to thickness and reliability in hot rolling of steel or nonferrous metals.;4 cl, 2 dwg
