BLOCK-GATE FOR PROTECTIVE DAM AGAINST PILEUP FLOODS OR OTHER SIMILAR NATURAL DISASTERS

FIELD: construction.;SUBSTANCE: block-gate for a protective dam is made of panels of different sizes, which are joined to each other at an angle, in lower corners of which axes are installed, entering bottom supports, and providing for rotation of the block-gate around the axes under impact of water flows of alternating direction. Elastic membranes are fixed on the panel frames, and they are made of hoses, on the basis of watertight rubbers or high-polymeric materials intertwined to each other as a basket. The block-gate is made of assembled panels making it possible to vary their length due to mutual displacement and to change configuration of parts with fixation in the specified position. The mutual angle between the panels is set by braces.;EFFECT: higher manufacturability of design, which makes it possible to eliminate the necessity to erect compressor stations, utilities and equipment for control and monitoring of stop blocks, which, in its turn, makes it possible to reduce power and maintenance costs for the whole protective structure.;6 cl, 6 dwg
