METHOD OF ULTRASONIC DIAGNOSTICS OF DORSAL PROTRUSIONS AND HERNIAS OF CERVICAL INTERVERTEBRAL DISCS

FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to neurology, vertebrology, ultrasonic diagnostics and can be used for diagnostics of dorsal protrusions and hernias of cervical intervertebral discs. Polypositional ultrasonic scanning in real time mode is carried out. Anterior-posterior size of vertebral canal is determined. Transversal size of vertebral canal is determined. Value of vertebral canal index is calculated by ratio of transversal size of vertebral canal to anterior-posterior size oft vertebral canal. If value of vertebral canal index increases to 1.80±0.11 and more, dorsal protrusion of cervical intervertebral disc is diagnosed. If value of vertebral canal index increases to 2.19±0.20 and more, dorsal hernia of cervical intervertebral disc is diagnosed.;EFFECT: method makes it possible to ensure objective diagnostics of dorsal protrusions and hernias of cervical intervertebral discs, detect precise localisation of pathological process in form of dorsal protrusions and hernias of cervical intervertebral discs, increase quality of examination, as well as provide possibility to realise control of treatment results in case if dorsal protrusions and hernias of cervical intervertebral disc are present.;7 dwg, 3 ex
