METHOD OF TREATING PATIENTS SUFFERING CHRONIC CARDIAC FAILURE COMPROMISED TYPE 2 DIABETES

FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to cardiology and endocrinology, and concerns treating the patients with chronic cardiac failure compromised by type 2 diabetes. That is ensured by the additional introduction of the selective β₁ adrenoceptor antagonist nebivolol in a single dose 5-7.5 mg/day within 12 months with underlying ACE inhibitor and diuretic therapy in the patients with a higher level of basal glycemia by more than 4.5 mmol/l and preserved LVEF by more than 52 %.;EFFECT: method provides effective treatment in the given group of patients due to ability of nebivolol to improve nitrogen oxide synthesis by a vascular endothelium and to provide normalising haemodynamic, metabolic, anti-ischemic and immune-correcting action.;1 ex, 3 tbl
