FIELD: oil and gas production.;SUBSTANCE: measurements are carried out by means of multi-component instrument of resistance logging at multitude of depths in borehole of well drilled in thickness of rock. By results of measurements there is determined the first aggregate thickness of sandstone in the first interval of rock thickness. By results of measurements there is determined the second aggregate thickness of sand stone in the second interval of rock thickness enveloping the first interval. Obtained values of the first and second aggregate thickness of sandstone are used for determination of maximal thickness of sandstone at the section of the second interval not included into the first interval. There is recorded maximal thickness of sand stone on a corresponding carrier.;EFFECT: determination of maximal thickness of sandstone at small interval of depths.;14 cl, 9 dwg
