The device has a drive lever (2) including a synthetic stone pallet (3) cooperating with the periphery of a snail cam (1), and a drive nose (9) cooperating with teeth of a jump mobile part (12). The nose is carried by a drive member i.e. hook (6), pivoted on the lever. A pivoting slide (16) has a positioning and locking catch that cooperates with a locking cam integrated with the mobile part. The slide has a guard pin that cooperates with an unlocking nose (10) of the drive member. A slide spring (18) displaces the slide in the direction of the locking cam.
