The station has a rotary piston engine (48) with a stroke chamber having an opening, where water flows through the opening and another opening in a chamber separated from an inlet. The engine has a rotary piston drawn along length of an axis of rotation, and low pressure is produced in the latter chamber. A feeding hopper (50) and a housing are arranged in an engine housing for guiding the flow of water through inlet openings (49) in the piston, where the piston is rotated and aligned based on geometry of the housings. Breadth and height of the engine are 50 cm. An independent claim is also included for a method for constructing a power station.
