The unit (61a) has a movable driving component (35) i.e. tiltable actuating lever, provided for a mobile stab-forming part. An actuator couples the driving component with the part with respect to an active position or decouples the component with respect to a passive position. A coupling lever (65a) is articulated at the part and tiltable around a drag axis (63). The actuator is co-operated with the coupling lever to bring the coupling lever in engagement or outer engagement with the component. The coupling lever is pre-stressed by a flat spring (70) toward the component. An independent claim is also included for a multi-head multi-needle embroidery machine comprising a parking assisting unit extending on two sides of a driving component.
