The hand tool handle has an insulation of a hammer part, which has an inner part, whose outer circumference surrounds the handle part (20). An end of the inner part projects outside the handle part and is formed as the hammer part, which tolerates external shocks. A detachable insulating part (21) is arranged over the hammer part of the handle part for shielding the hammer part.
