Making layered cappuccino beverage comprises filling e.g. coffee in drinking vessel to form cream, introducing penetrating milk foam portion to form foam layer between cream and coffee and introducing non-penetrating milk foam portion
Preparing a cappuccino beverage, with layered structure, comprises: (a) initially filling a defined amount of coffee or espresso in a drinking vessel to form the upper cream; (b) introducing a first milk foam portion into the drinking vessel so that it penetrates the cream and forms a first milk foam layer between the cream and the coffee and/or espresso; and (c) introducing at least one further milk foam portion into the drinking vessel so that it does not penetrate the cream and forms at least one further milk foam layer on the first milk foam layer. An independent claim is included for a beverage dispenser, for carrying out the above method, comprising a milk frother adjustable with respect to vapor content, milk content and/or flow rate.
