The tool (1) has a housing with two housing parts e.g. crankcase (2) and grip part (4) that are separately connected with each other. The grip part is provided for holding and guiding a machine tool. Vibration reduction elements (5, 6) are arranged between the housing parts, where the vibration reduction elements form-fittingly interconnect the housing parts in a spatial direction. A recess is attached into the grip part for inserting the vibration reduction element. A locking element is provided for locking the vibration reduction element in the recess.
