The method involves developing a condition space model for turbo machines e.g. gas and steam turbines. Critical tensions and gap widths due to internal pressure, temperatures and centrifugal forces are calculated. The allowable changes of temperature, pressure and speed are determined from remaining differences with respect to maximum tensions and minimum gap widths using a system matrix and an inverse control matrix. A fuel stream is influenced in the turbo machines.
