The supporting matrix is axially moved in the supporting sleeve such that the size of an interior of the support matrix lies within the supporting sleeve depending on an axial position of the support matrix. A matrix element (3) has a recess (16) for receiving a section of a preform (20). The matrix element is arranged inside the spring such that the spring concentrically surrounds the matrix element.
