Cylinder crankcase for turbocharger utilized for engine, has cylinder bore and cylinder liner, where cylinder liner is fastened in crankcase by friction welding seam and consists of grey cast iron or hypereutectic aluminum silicon alloy
The crankcase (2) has a cylinder bore (4) and a cylinder liner (6), where the cylinder liner is fastened in the crankcase by a friction welding seam (8). A spiral groove (16) runs in the cylinder bore. A spiral is formed by the spiral groove and comprises different upward gradients along the cylinder bore. The cylinder liner consists of grey cast iron or a hypereutectic aluminum silicon alloy. The hypereutectic aluminum silicon alloy consists of silicon whose weight percentage is greater than 20.
