The method involves punching out sanitary articles (7) from a multi-layered material web (1). The articles are partially provided with a non-adhesive cover (6), and a packaging material web is attached on the non-adhesive cover. An adhesive point (8) between the non-adhesive cover and the packaging material web is attached to the non-adhesive cover and/or the packaging material web. The sanitary articles are packed directly with the non-adhesive cover, and another packaging material web is tapered. A side of the former packaging material web is provided with pressure-sensitive adhesive (5).
