A method for umstabilisierung of (meth) acrylic monomers, wherein from the group consisting of phenothiazine hold strength (meth) acrylic monomers phenothiazine is removed by adsorption on activated carbon, and, if required, then a moderately effective polymerization inhibitor is added.
