The method involves forming a vibration signal as a total signal (s-ges) from the interference of low frequency fluctuating base signal and high frequency vibration signal. The total signal is scanned with high scanning frequency. An upper envelope (sh-max) and a lower envelope (sh-min) are deduced from the scanned value of the total signal.
