The device has a power electrode (71) attached at a body, where power of reduced magnitude is guided to the body via the electrode. Impedance change is determined by voltage change for recording of impedance cardiogram to determine a hemodynamic parameter. Left atrial electrocardiogram of the heart is recorded, where results of the left atrial electrocardiogram are considered for evaluation of the impedance cardiogram. A temporal distance between left atrial excitation and beginning (69) of ventricular excitation is determined, and the impedance cardiogram is corrected based on the distance. An independent claim is also included for a device for implementing transthoracic, transesophageal and/or intracardial impedance cardiography and for stimulation and ablation of heart.
