The passenger safety device (2) has an air bag system (5) which has a three-zone air bag with a zone (11), another zone (12) and a third zone (13). The former zone is formed for protecting the pelvis of a passenger (9) and the latter zone is formed for protecting the chest of the passenger. The third zone is formed for protecting the head of a passenger. The airbag system is formed for protecting the passenger on a seat of the rear row of seat (4).
