The present invention relates to a process for the reconstruction of image data (kor - pic) of an object to be examined from measured data (org - sin), wherein the measurement data (org - sin) as a projection data (org - sin) in the case of a relative rotational movement between a radiation source of a computer tomography system and the object to be examined were detected. From the measured data (org - sin), a first image (pic) is determined, and pixel values of the first image (pic) are changed in that the pixel values are divided into at least three classes, each class a classes image point value is assigned, and the pixels of the first image (pic) with the respective classes image point value are occupied. In such a way from the change in the first image (ma - pic), a calculation of projection data (ma - sin). The calculated projection data (ma - sin), for the normalization (standard) of the measured projection data (org - sin) is used. In the normalized projection data are (standard - sin) values changed, and the thus changed normalized projection data (int - sin) are fed to a normalizing subjected to machining (denorm) reverses. Finally, from the thus processed projection data (kor - sin) a second image (kor - pic) is determined.
