The method involves forming a solar power using device from a module (7). The module is arranged in distance to a roof waterproofing (5) above a carrying construction (1) of a building roof. Carrier elements (8) are inserted between the module and the roof waterproofing. A laminar separative element (9) is arranged between the carrier elements and the roof waterproofing, and designed as foil, fleece or foam layer. The carrier elements are formed as profiles that include a receiving surface for a system in the module. An independent claim is also included for a device for utilizing solar power to produce electricity.
