The continuous welding machine (1) for welding sides of a tube blank bent from a material cut, comprises a welding system with two welding devices, of which a first welding device is provided for producing spot welding securing the locations of the sides of the tube blank turned to each other and a second welding device adjacent to the first welding device in feeding direction of the tube blank is intended for producing welding joint connecting the sides of the tube blank. The welding system and the welding devices are processable relative to a guide path of the tube blank. The continuous welding machine (1) for welding sides of a tube blank bent from a material cut, comprises a welding system with two welding devices, of which a first welding device is provided for producing spot welding securing the locations of the sides of the tube blank turned to each other and a second welding device adjacent to the first welding device in feeding direction of the tube blank is intended for producing welding joint connecting the sides of the tube blank. The welding system and the welding devices are processable relative to a guide path of the tube blank axis-parallel to its guide axis. One of the welding devices is formed as wolfram-inert-gas welding device. A guide stop is provided for the alignment of the sides of the tube blank turned to each other and for the system of the front edges in front of the feeding direction. The guide stop is processable along the guide path of the tube blank. The guide stop is engaged in the guide path during a path stretch of the guide path oriented in the feeding direction and is disengaged during a reset path oriented against feeding direction to the guide path. The guide stop is electrically drivable using a pneumatic or hydraulic cylinder and/or is engaged or disengaged to the guide path, where the inflow movement and/or the outflow movement of the guide stop into the and/or from the path stretch of the guide path oriented in the feeding direction are controllable using a link guide arranged to the guide stop.
