The apparatus has a decoupling device for decoupling a crankshaft (2) and a starter generator (4) from an endless drive (3) and/or a damping unit that damps torque peaks. A radial ball bearing is rotatably mounted on a driving shaft (6) relative to a shaft (5) of the assembly and formed with a filling angle of 180 degree. The radial ball bearing comprises a cage that guides balls and is manufactured in a press molding method. The balls are laid between an inner ring and an outer ring in an intermediate step during the molding method.
