The vehicle has a photovoltaic device (10) equipped with a solar cell (2) comprising a photoactive layer e.g. foil, on a carrier component and with a transparent protective cover on light incidence side. The solar cell is movable in park position of the vehicle over a windscreen (3) of the vehicle, where the solar cell is opaque. The foldable solar cell is joined in an area of a front flap (F) at a roof or in rear area at the vehicle. The photoactive layer is formed as a coloring material-sensitized layer by a semiconductor and made of plastic. The carrier component is made of sheet metal or plastic. The protective cover is formed by a transparent protective plastic film or transparent lacquer or glass.
