The device has a driving motor (10) e.g. brushless direct current motor, and a multi-level reduction gear for transmission of motor rotation to an adjusting flap. The reduction gear comprises a toothed belt gear unit (12) and an additional gear unit (16), where the toothed belt gear unit comprises a flexible toothed belt (22). The toothed belt comprises a tooth pitch of approximately 1 mm. The additional gear unit comprises a worm gear, a cycloid gear, a harmonic drive gear or a wobble gear. The additional gear unit is arranged downstream to the toothed belt gear unit.
