The umbrella device (10) has a rod stand-system (12) with flexible umbrella membrane (16) carrying umbrella rods (14). An environmentally stable umbrella body (20) is provided with a closable opening (22). The umbrella rods are formed with the umbrella membrane in circumferential direction around the rod stand-system. The umbrella body is made of plastic, glass fiber reinforced plastic, metal, concrete or wood.
