Wheel suspension for double-tracked motor vehicle i.e. passenger car, has lever rotated around pivotal point for transferring vertical movement of wheels to spring strut and comprising lever arm that is pivotably attached to wheel carrier
The suspension has a horizontally-aligned spring strut (7) connected to a supporting wall (9) of a vehicle body (2) in a pivotable manner parallel to a vehicle transverse axis at an inner end (8) and connected to a lever arm (5) of a bell-crank lever (4) at an outer end. The lever is rotated around a chassis or body-fixed pivotal point for transferring vertical movement of wheels to the spring strut. The lever has another lever arm (5') that is pivotably attached to a wheel carrier (19) by using a rubber mounting.
