The method involves lying a semi-trailer (2) in a direction of a front lift axle (6) and a rear axle (5). A driver switch (9) is actuated during cornering of the air springs which are relieved from pressure automatically. The front lift axle of the semi-trailer is charged with 130 percent of their nominal load.
