Method for recognizing blocked bore-hole in metallic component i.e. vane of high pressure turbo engine in gas turbine system, involves recognizing continuous borehole based on temperature change in bore-hole
The method involves passing of compressed air bore-hole of a metallic component (12) with compressed air. Heat development in the bore-hole or in a surrounding area of the bore-hole is detected, during or after passing of the compressed air. A continuous bore-hole is recognized based on temperature change in the bore-hole and/or in the surrounding area of the bore-hole. The heat development is verified in a thermo-graphical manner. Temperature distribution of the component is detected, before passing of the bore-hole with compressed air. An independent claim is also included for a device for implementing the method for recognizing the blocked bore-hole in the component.
