The method involves obtaining berries by cutting a fruit branch in a plantation. The fruit branch is supplied to cutting devices by displaceable controlling systems for reeling with an elastically mounted tooth. The cutting devices are equipped with rotating or oscillating tools. The fruit branch is separated from a bush, and is conveyed downstream of conveyers, loaded on a transporter, frozen in a passage in a freezing tunnel and separated by the elastically mounted tooth that is translationally extended above an oscillating filter surface. An independent claim is also included for a device for harvesting sea buckthorn berries.
